It's finally Friday and it marks the last weekend of the California State fair so let's head back to Cal Expo and watch the Thoroughbreds in Sacramento! Turtle Sports was founded in Sacramento, so these ponies run near and dear to our hearts and we like to give them love every chance we get. It is bittersweet for us as this is the final weekend of thoroughbred racing this year in our hometown but since we missed the last two years we aren't complaining one bit!
Today's card includes 7 races, a competitive field and starts at 1:45 PM Pacific. The temperatures may be hot outside, but the action is even hotter on today's dirt track. Make sure to stay hydrated if you plan on making it through the entire card.
