Happy Birdie Line Thursday!!!
This week we are, “Deep in the heart of Texas…” sing along if you know the words, for the Charles Schwab Open, which low key feels like a letdown week after last weekend. But no doubt there will be some great golf played. To give an update on the eliminator pool that we are participating in, we are currently sitting an 83 out of 332. To be honest there may have been a week or two where I thought I hit the submit button, and scored a goose egg for the week. But we are battling back as best as we can, which is why this week I’m going a little more chalk. Looking hard at last year's runner-up Collin Morikawa to play strong, having only missed one cut in the last 10 starts with 5 top tens and his win earlier in the year at the WGC Workday. Also running with a first-timer to this event but has had a stellar year, minus the last time we picked him, but Will Zalatoris has been electric with only 2 starts out of his last 15 tournaments ending in less than a top 50 finish, 11 finishes are top 25. We need some heat this weekend to push us up the board. Hope we can get you in the money.
