Happy Oaks Day eve and May the Fourth be with you! That's right the biggest weekend of horse racing this year so far kicks off tomorrow!!! First, let's get one last final warmup in before we dig in deep this weekend! Today's card has 11 races including three stakes races which means very competitive fields coming at you really quickly today. Race 4 is the $200K Kentucky Juvenile Stakes, race 9 is the $175K St. Matthews Overnight Stakes, and race 10 is the $300K Opening Verse Stakes, so lottsa money is up for grabs today. Make sure to take a deep dive on race 4 as the two year olds tend to have less info on them but our picks will help you dig in.
Running conditions look fantastic as the wind has died down today and we have a fast track and firm turf there's no worry about the running surfaces. Temperatures are in the mid-60s will make for a great day of racing action. First post is at 9:45 AM Pacific.
