Happy Thursday! We're comin' in hot with another world famous Turtle Sports Two-Fer Horse Racing Post! We've got the Kentucky Oaks tomorrow followed by the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, and in preparation of said races, we're gettin our reps in at Churchill Downs and Gulfstream Park today. Sounds great, right?
Today's card at Churchill Downs includes 11 races and features Race 7, the $130K Opening Verse Overnight Stakes and Race 9, the $150K Unbridled Sidney Stakes. It looks like thunderstorms today, so watch out for scratches and wet track conditions. We're hoping the weather cooperates, but, hey, mother nature can be a bitch. Either way, first post is at 9:45 AM Pacific, so don't be late!
Shortly after we'll be watching the ponies at Gulfstream Park. The Gulfstream card is on the shorter side with only 8 races, but has lotsa runners with much more agreeable weather. First post is at 9:50, so grab that Mimosa, breakfast beer, Bloody Mary, whatever you've got and let's put some tickets together!
