Circa Million III // Week 13

We made it to Week 13 of the NFL season and with that, we also find ourselves ready for another week of the Circa Sports Million III Pro Football Contest. And we are definitely ready for a new week after getting railroaded week 12 with our Model and Kappin' plays going 1-4. We took our licks, learned a lesson or two and have adjusted to put us back on the right track for Sunday's action. So with all that behind us, let's check out what week 13 has to offer. But before we get there, we'll set the table quickly for those that are just joining us.

Each week we are picking 5 teams against the spread for a chance to win the $1 Million First Prize for best record at the end of the season. Point spreads for this contest are published Thursday mornings by Circa Sports and remain static through the week.

This year, we have three different entries in the Circa Million contest: Our first entry plays are made using our Turtle Sports proprietary model (our Model Plays). These picks are made strictly by the numbers without discussion. Our Kappin' with Krista plays are base on group discussion and collaboration. These plays are different from our model picks as we handicap each game and attempt to beat our model. Our last entry was for the $100,000 BOOBY PRIZE (Booby Plays), which you hit by having the worst record at the end of the season. As it turns out, we have pivoted on this entry and are now trying to cash in on the 3rd quarter top 3 prize. Yes, this is a change from before, but in order capitalize on these contests you need to be able to flexible and pivot when needed. We done very well pickin' winners over the past few weeks - so much so that we have a chance to hit the third quarter winner's prize on this entry (with a little help from the competition), so we're back on the winning train and are lookin' to go 5-0 this week. Krista is back with our week 13 Circa Million III plays. It's been a very weird year and there's been a lot of unexpected outcomes. As such, we are taking that into consideration as we continue our journey to WIN the $1 Million first prize contest! We've got all dogs again on our model plays this week - doesn't always happen that way, but were looking to keep it close on these games. As such, we're thinking the Raiders lose to the Football Team and the Falcons to keep it close with the Buccaneers. There's plenty more picks for this week and you can find them all below.
