Circa Million III // Week 17

Happy New Year to all! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and all the bowl games on Saturday! But it's a new year and that brings us new opportunities to make some money. As such, we are focused on closing out the NFL season and completing our journey to finish the Circa Sports Million III Pro Football Contest in the money! For those that might be just joining us, we'll start off with a quick rundown of the contest and then we'll get to our Circa Sports Million III Week 17 plays.

Each week we are picking 5 teams against the spread for a chance to win the $1 Million First Prize for best record at the end of the season. Point spreads for this contest are published Thursday mornings by Circa Sports and remain static through the week. We have three different entries in the Circa Million III contest:

Model Plays: This entry's picks are made using our Turtle Sports proprietary model. No discussion involved

Kappin' with Krista: These plays are made using group discussion as we handicap each game and try to beat our model.

Entry formally known as Booby Plays: This entry was originally made trying to end up with the worse record at the end of the season for the $100K Booby Prize. As it turns out, we weren't in a position to hit that prize, so our focus is now on having the best record at the end of the 4th quarter of the season to get our part of the $250,000 quarterly payout.

Entry formally known as Booby Plays: 36-44

So that brings us to week 17. Our Model has given dogs once again this week, with the exception of the Titans at -3. We're thinking the Bills are going to dominate the Falcons and cover the 14 point spread we're lookin' for the Texans to keep the game relatively close against the 49ers. They're getting 12.5 points this week. Krista is BACK all of her plays for the week. The rest of our picks for our other entries can be found below in this post. We are still alive and can will cash in this contest with a little luck and some help from our competitors.
