Coke Zero Sugar 400

We're off to Florida for today's NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 at the Daytona International Speedway! The race starts at 4:30 PM Pacific (check out the action on NBC) and consists of 400 miles over 160 laps. Our #FinishLine match ups - including driver analysis - are below. Lets roll and get #InTheMoney! #ChekersOrWreckers!

Finish Line

Ryan Newman > Christopher Bell

Ryan Newman is a superb super speedway driver. We believe that he's shaken off the cobwebs of his crash at the beginning of the year that landed him in the hospital. Newman used Talladega as his confidence builder and we believe he is ready to go. The Newman / Bell match up is beautiful! Ryan Newman has 12 top 10s and 6 top 5s with 1 win. Bell is still in his younger years and, without practice, still doesn’t have the experience compared to Newman. Newman is definitely a veteran when it comes to these types of tracks, which we believe will give him the edge over Bell. One might want to fade Newman due to his last appearance at Daytona, but he is a race car driver. Fear will NOT be a factor. We are playing Ryan Newman over Christopher Bell.

Erik Jones > William Byron

Erik Jones is very consistent when it comes to Daytona. Out of 7 starts, he has 3 top 10s, 2 top 5s and 1 win. Those numbers are great when compared to William Byron, who has 1 top 10s and 1 top 5s. Jones again is interviewing for his 2021 ride every week. You want to land a job next year, you show that you can perform at Daytona. The smart play is Erik Jones over William Byron.

Jimmie Johnson > William Byron

Like, E.Jones, this is a veteran play. Jimmie Johnson has 16 top 10s, 12 top 5s and 3 wins. He needs to run well. He is on the bubble with - yes - his team mate Byron, however Byron will be a tool used for Johnson to run in the top 5 to get into the playoff. We're playing Jimmie Johnson over William Byron.

**Shout out to @Ariel Epstein for catching our name mispelling on an earlier version of the post!! Thanks Ariel!
