Let's get a bit closer to home for us and go from the East Coast to the West Coast to finish up our day of ponies!!! We are headed to Del Mar Thoroughbred Clun to watch their 11 race card that includes two stakes, one being another win and you're in for the Breeders Cup. Race 9 is a $400K G1 stakes and is named for the late great Clement L. Hirsch who was big in the West Coast racing scene after moving to California early in his career. With this many runners, we better get moving on putting our tickets together. As usual the weather is beautiful in San Diego with highs in the mid-70s and partly cloudy skies. That means the dirt is fast and turf is firm so let's saddle up ride!
