We hope you enjoyed all the food, family, friends, and adult beverages yesterday as we gave Thanks for whatever it is you are thankful for! We are heading back to the track today to do all of the above and hopefully more! Yesterday kicked off the Turf Festival at Del Mar which is 9 stakes races, 8 of which are graded, over 9 racing days to close out the Bing Crosby season at the track. Today's featured race comes in race 7 the $250K Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes. This is a grade two turf stakes run at 10 Furlongs so hold on to those tickets as this one will take a bit longer to play out.
We'll be enjoying beautiful Autumn weather all day with temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s, sunny skies and perfect running conditions: firm turf, a fast track and a card full of runners that just won't quit! First post is at 12:30 Pacific.
