It's rivalry week and we are steering clear of any dust ups in the college football world by heading to sunny Southern California for a more laid back day from Del Mar Racecourse. We are in day three of the Turf Festival at Del Mar which is 9 stakes races, 8 of which are graded, over 9 racing days to close out the Bing Crosby season at the track. Today's featured race comes in race 7 the $250K Seabiscuit Handicap. This is a grade two turf stakes run at 8.5 Furlongs so it won't take them long to know who wins this one!
We'll be enjoying beautiful Autumn weather all day with temperatures in the high 60s, sunny skies, and perfect running conditions: firm turf, a fast track, and a card full of runners that just won't quit! The first post is at 12:30 Pacific.
