Happy Saturday Everyone!!! It's raining here in Northern California so hopefully where you are reading this from it's better weather to enjoy the races and cash some tickets with us! Today we stay closer to home and are playing the ponies from Del Mar Racecourse. That's right we continue our look at the West Coast and the amazing tracks featured in Southern California. Today's card has 9 races, 2 stakes, and lottsa runners. Both stakes races are $100K purses and come in race 2 the Desi Arnaz Stakes and race 8 the Cary Grant Stakes. These are two distinctly different races as R2 is for 2 year old fillies while R8 is for more seasoned horse at 3 years old and upward. Both are sure to draw in some decent sized pools as we only have a couple of weeks left in the Bing Crosby meet.
We are in for some not so typical San Diego weather today with highs in the upper 60s, mostly cloudy skies, and a chance of ran. As of the writing of this post we will have firm turf, and a fast track meaning we should be in for a great day of racing despite the change in weather!!!
