Happy HUMP Day! We've got a great day of racing ahead of us and we're comin' in hot with our World-Famous Two-Fer posts for the cards at Delaware Park and Colonial Downs. That's right. Two tracks; one post. By now you know what's up. But before we get down to our picks, let's peruse each card.
Today's card at Delaware Park includes 8 races with lotsa runners and features Race 6, the $50K Blue Hen Stakes. Running conditions will be decent: the track is fast but all races have been taken off-turf, so watch for scratches. Temperatures will be in the low 90's under mostly sunny skies and first post is at 10:15 AM Pacific.
Starting just 30 minutes later are the races at Colonial Downs. The card includes 9 races with lotsa runners, and we all know lotsa runners means great opportunities to cash some tickets. We're in for great running conditions in Virginia: the turf is firm, the track is fast and temperatures will be in the low 90's. First post is at 10:45 AM Pacific.
