Happy Friday!!! It's almost the new year but not quite so today let's go watch the ponies from Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans, LA today and their 8 race card. Fun fact of the day, Fair Grounds is "America's third-oldest racetrack operating since 1872, with thoroughbred racing and simulcasting year-round."
Running conditions are looking warmer than last week with temps in low to mid-60s thunderstorms are in the area and rain is going to be in the area by race 4 or 5 so bring an umbrella for this one or better yet just stay inside to watch it. The track will be sloppy all day so dig deep on those mudders to find some winners! The first post is at 11:15 AM Pacific so saddle up and let's ride!!!
