Happy New Year!!! We made it on more trip around the sun as plant and to celebrate let's go watch the ponies from Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans, LA today and their 8 race card. Fun fact of the day, Fair Grounds is "America's third-oldest racetrack operating since 1872, with thoroughbred racing and simulcasting year-round." The NFL might be the start of the show on Sunday Funday but there is plenty of tickets to cash today watching the ponies!!!
Running conditions are looking warmer than last week, the track was frozen so racing was suspended, with temps in the high 60s and no rain in the forecast you will be in for a great day of racing. The track should be good all day an the first post is at 11:15 AM Pacific so saddle up and let's ride!!!
