As we get ready for the last two Divisional games in the NFL, we head back to New Orleans for an 8-race card at Fair Grounds Race Course. Yesterday saw Simply Joking take the Silverbullet Stakes, picking up 20 points toward the Kentucky Oaks. Likewise, Disco Time also earned 20 points toward a spot in the starting gate in the Kentucky Derby by rallying on a sloppy track to edge out Built in the Lecomte. Next up on the Derby Prep schedule will be the G3 Southwest S. at Oaklawn Park on Jan. 25th. On that same card will be the next KY Oaks Prep with the Martha Washington.
While the track is in a little better condition for today's races at Fair Grounds, we are unfortunately Off-Turf again ☹️
