Running conditions will be decent with a fast track, but races 4, 7 and 9 are running off-turf, so watch for scratches. Temperatures will be in the mid 70's with partly cloudy skies.... might not be sunny, but we'll take it for February racing!

Let's check out today's Best Value Horse (BVH). What's our BVH, you ask? Our Best Value Horse is probably not going off as the favorite and is unlikely to to go off with the longest odds. Simply put - our Best Value Horse is a runner our very own @TSDaveW likes with morning line odds around 7-1. This will be a horse that should be competitive, and if it his, you'll be glad you played it! This 4 year old daughter of Animal Kingdom had a rough trip last time out, but made a push in the stretch to earn her highest Equibase Speed of 94 in a 5th place finish. She is dropping down in class from that last race and will have the red hot Luis Saez in the irons. Although this race has changed to off-turf, Kate's Kingdom raced once on Tapeta, finishing 2nd place on October 1st. With Morning Line odds of 12/1, Kate's Kingdom is today's BVH at Gulfstream Park.
