Happy HUMP day! We're half way through the week and half way through the month! And you know what that means, right? Yup, you guessed it! We're headed back to Florida to watch the races at Gulfstream Park! Today's card is on the shorter side with 8 races, but has a competitive field and starts at 9:30 AM Pacific. We're in for great running conditions with firm turf, a fast track and temperatures in the upper 70's. There is a chance of rain later, but it looks like we'll miss it.

Daniel Hurtak claimed Frolic Man for $12.5K after the 3 year old colt broke his maiden running 6 furlongs on January 14th at Gulfstream Park. He then moved up to a $35K Starter Optional Claiming on February 6th. After a slow break, Frolic demonstrated that he was racing above his class finishing 5th. Today, Hurtak brings him back down while keeping him at his comfort distance of 6 furlongs. Frolic Man isn’t the fastest horse in the field but did notch a career high 64 Equibase Speed in that 5th place finish. He definitely has a puncher’s chance against this field so we hope to see him hover around the M/L odds. Opening the day at 12/1, Frolic Man is our Best Value Horse at Gulfstream Park.
