Gulfstream Park // 16-MAR

Happy HUMP Day! We're back on the horse and headed to Florida to watch the thoroughbreds at Gulfstream Park! Today's card is on the shorter side with 8 races, but has a competitive field and starts at 10:05 AM Pacific. Running conditions are going to be great with firm turf, a fast track and temperatures around 80. There is a chance of thunderstorms later, but we're hoping the weather cooperates.

Need help pickin' winners? We've got you covered! Our #LundinLine top picks and best bets are below in this post. We use them to help narrow down the field while we're puttin' our tickets together. We also use it to help build our stables when playin' on the StableDuel App. They've got two contests ($7 and $35) at Gulfstream today, so check them out if you're interested. The first post will be here before you know it, so don't be late! You know what to do. Saddle up and ride with us. We're gettin' #InTheMoney!

Oh, and don't forget to follow us @_TurtleSports and subscribe to our site so you don't miss any of the action. You'll be glad you did! Let's Ride!

Let's check out today's Best Value Horse (BVH). What's our BVH, you ask? Our Best Value Horse is probably not going off as the favorite and is unlikely to go off with the longest odds. Simply put - our Best Value Horse is a runner our very own @TSDaveW likes with morning line odds around 7-1. This will be a horse that should be competitive, and if it hits, you'll be glad you played it! Odd, of course, change throughout the day, however, we're lookin' at Morning Line Odds when making these picks.

Today's BVH for Gulfstream Park

Race #7 / Allowance Optional Claiming / 7.5 Furlongs on Turf

Fillies - 3 Year Old & Up

Philly Eagles (IRE) (#6)

Havana Gold (IRE) / Daliana (GB)

M/L: 10/1

After breaking her maiden in her first race (an $8K Maiden Special Weight back in June) Philly Eagles moved to Mark Casses’s tutelage & in her next race finished 4th after a bump at the break in the GII Miss Grillo Stakes on Belmont’s turf. Her next race was a disappointing 6th / 9 finish in the $100K Chelsey Flower Stakes back in November. The daughter of Havana Gold has nice closing speed & has looked good in her works at Palm Meadows. Casse has her on lasix for the first time & has Emisael Jaramilo at the helm. This lass will do our resident Philly Eagles fan (aka @TSDaveW) proud if she can hit the board at (or close) to her M/L odds of 10-1. Philly Eagles (IRE) (#6) is today's Best Value Horse at Gulfstream Park.
