Today's BVH for Gulfstream Park

Belgrano will be the senior runner in this year’s Silks Run Stakes. This 8 year old gelding by War Front is on a run of 3's like Steph Curry. On February 12th, he finished 3rd by 3 1/2 in the G3 GP Turf Sprint, going 5 furlongs. On January 8th, he finished 3rd by 3 1/4 in the G3 1 mile Tropical Turf Stakes. Frank Russo has the very hot Jose Ortiz at the helm, and, over his last 41 starts, is winning at 24%. Impressive! Moving down to this non-graded stakes could bode well for this “old timer” who is 9 (2 wins) for 19 on Gulfstream's turf. Starting the day off with 10/1 Morning Line odds, Belgrano (#6) is today's Best Value Horse at Gulfstream Park.
