Conagher’s last race was back in July when he broke his maiden, running 5 furlongs in a $50k Maiden Special Weight on Colonial Downs turf. It was an impressive win as 3 horses from that field went on to win in their next race. That was Conagher's 4th career start, with the 3 previous starts also finishing #InTheMoney (1x win, 2x place, 1x show). Furthermore, each race thus far has earned him an Equibase speed in the 80s. Trainer Michael Tomlinson will have Jose Ortiz in the irons when Conagher makes his Florida debut at his comfort distance of 5 furlongs. We’re hoping this race doesn’t get moved off turf, but Conagher is used to surface changes as this will be his 4th different track in his young career. He will also be back on Lasix. Starting the day off with 20/1 odds, Conagher (#1), is our Best Value Horse on today's card at Gulfstream Park.
