Happy Pegasus World Cup Day (as well as National Chocolate Cake Day!)
Let's escape the cold, rain, or snow today and head to southeast Florida to play the ponies from Gulfstream Park. It's the biggest day of the year for this very busy track. The Pegasus World Cup consists of 13 races, seven stakes races, with the featured race coming in the 13th where the Pegasus Invitational takes place. This $3 million race features some of the best horses in the world. This is only the 8th running of this race but it has always been a coveted race to get into. We are in for a special day of race and potentially some historic pools to bet into. Be sure to participate because you don't want to miss the chance to cash some nice tickets.
The weather is typical Caribbean syle weather with around 80s degrees, partly cloudy skies and no rain to be seen for miles. However, it is Florida and at any time a storm could blow through so keep an eye out for that. Humidity has always been high in this part of the world so bring a second shirt as it will be around 80% all day. The dirt is fast the turf is firm so we are in for another great day of racing!!!
