We took a day to celebrate not only 'Merica but the namesake of the Lundin Line yesterday but that's all we were allowed and we are back in the saddle again! Today we are headed just outside Chicago and playing the ponies from Hawthorne Racecourse. It's the middle of the week, so we are in store for a great day of racing. With 8 races, plenty of runners, and tickets to cash we are ready to finish the week strong!!!
Today's weather is going to be hot as we have highs in the low 90s and potential showers for the entirety of today's card. There is an air quality warning and a flood watch for the area so keep an eye out for any changes. The track has been set to fast but we are off turf so there might be a few adjustments.
