Here is my #HomeRunLine take for today.
There are 9 games in the MLB today. 7 of them currently have favorites -175 or higher. That's way too high to play. If you listen to the podcast, you know any team can have an off day.
After my L last night I jumped on around 10 pm and got decent value:
SF over SD ML(-149)
CIN over PIT ML (-133)
I know you can't get this now, but remember, if you win you don't pay the juice.
A lot of people will tell you to play the run line on these heavy favorites. This week, (since Sunday) 17 of 54 games have been decided by 1 run. That's 31.5%. In MLB this season, hitting .315 puts you 3rd in the league. Vlad Jr. and Trea Turner are both hitting .317.
