Unbridled Class will look to redeem herself after giving up the late lead to Pretty Assets who joins her again at this year’s running of the Richmond Stakes. Prior to the Richmond, she had consecutive Wins on June 25th and July 22nd ((both at Indiana Grand). Unbridled Class leads this field of 7 with an average Speed figure of 88 and also leads in early (94), middle (95) and finish (89) Pace Ratings. Trainer Bernard Flint with Jockey Marcelino Pedroza, over the past year, are winning at 23%, ITM at 62% with a +35% ROI. Unbridled Class opens the day at 4/5 odds.
R8: Gus Grissom Stakes
[8] Unbridled Beast
Trainer Randy Matthews, Jockey Rodney A. Prescott and Unbridled Beast will look to make it 4 in a row coming into today’s running of the Gus Grissom Stakes. His last race / Win was just 2 weeks ago in the ITOBA Stallion Season where he stalked the pace for much of the race, but then pulled away in the stretch to win by 5 1/2 lengths, earring a Speed figure of 98. Bringing that speed from the the ITOBA should bode well Unbridled Beast as today’s Gus Grissom does not have a ton of speed. Matthews’ horses coming off a win are ITM at 78% and Prescott over the last 10 days is winning at 25% with a +28% ROI. Morning Line odds for Unbridled Beast are 3/1.
