Happy Saturday everyone! With the Breeders' Cup less than a week away we thought it would be a good idea to take a break from the West Coast so we can bombard you the rest of the week with it! So, let's head to Lexington, KY for closing day at Keeneland. Home to last year's Breeders' Cup, this track always has a solid card and today is no exception. We have 10 races, 3 stakes, and plenty of time to cash some tickets. There looks to be two featured races today in Race 8 and 9. Race 8 is the Bryan Stations Stakes which is a one-mile turf race with a purse of $300k while race 9 is the Hagyard Favette Stakes which is a nine furlong dirt race with a purse of $350k. Two big races to close out closing day, yes there is one race after that but it doesn't work if you're too serious, and we are happy to help you cash those tickets!
Today is looking like it will be an up and down day with the weather. There is a 50% chance of rain and we will see temp in the high 60sd to low 70s all day long. With this being the final day of the meet we would expect the turf to hold up long enough to get to the end of the card. The first post is at 10 AM Pacific. Giddy Up.
