🏇Happy Friday & National Cinnamon Bun Day!

It’s not quite fall here in California, but we are hoping for some cooler weather soon to enjoy those cinnamon buns with our cappin’! Today is a opening day at Keeneland and they are stating things off with huge card, three separate Breeders’ Cup win and in races. Race 7 is the Stoll Keenan Ogden Phoenix stakes where the winner earns a spot in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint. This is a six furlong sprint on the turf for 3 year olds and up. We don’t have to wait long for the next win and in as race 8 is the Jessamine Stakes which earns the winner a spot in the John Deere Juvenile Fillies Turf. This is an 8.5 furlong route on the turf. They really packed the big races together as race 9 is our final win and in from Keeneland today which is the Darley Alcibiades Stakes and earns the winner a spot in the NetJets Juvenile Filles in November. While we are focused on Keeneland today, we also capped the line win and in from Belmont at the Big A today. Race 5 is the Futurity Stakes and earns the winner a spot in the Juvenile turf sprint. This is a 6.5 furlong sprint on the outer turf. We won’t be sending picks for that full card but we have tons of action this weekend so make sure to sign up for email alerts and follow us on X to get more insight each week into all sports!

Todays card at Keeneland has 10 total races, 3 stakes, all of which are win and in, and lottsa runners. The weather is gorgeous today with highs in the mid 80s and sunny skies. The track is fast and turf is firm.
