Today couldn't be better to sit around and bet the ponies while enjoying your favorite Bouillabaisse as the rain is pounding us here in Northern California. The good news if you have bad weather is we are playing the ponies today from Los Alamitos Racecourse in Cypress, CA. Yesterday we found success at Remington with six top pick winners across 12 races. That comes out to an ROI of -25.4% as most of our winners were the favorites. Lottsa opportunity to bounce back today as we have a nice race card to keep you busy until dinner. The featured race today comes in the eighth race where the two year olds look to grab 10-5-3-2-1 points toward the starting gate at the Kentucky Derby. Los Alamitos Futurity:

Initially inaugurated in 1981 as the Hollywood Futurity at Hollywood Park, the race has a rich history of showcasing young talent, with many past winners achieving significant success in their racing careers. The race covers a distance of 1 1/16 miles (8.5 furlongs) on dirt, serving as an early indicator of promising contenders for the following year’s Triple Crown series.

Today's weather is going to be nice as we will see highs in the mid 60s with mostly sunny skies. There is a slight chance of rain before the card kicks off but should not affect the track much if at all. Since we only have a dirt track at Los Al, we will see a fast track as you look to cash those tickets!
