On Tilt comes into today’s race leading the field in early, late and finish Pace Ratings. He also leads the field in average Speed (61). Jockey Joel Dominguez over the past 30 day is Winning @ 17% and with Trainer Steven Asmussen is ITM at 61%.
R4: [8] Love Bound
Love Bound is coming off a Win on Aug. 17th at Louisiana Downs, with another Win on June 6th also at LD. She is 2nd in this field in average Speed (65) and also 2nd in her finish Pace Rating of 70.7. Trainer Joseph Foster’s horses are winning @ 21% coming off of a Win and over the past 30 days, his horses are ITM at 56%.
R6: [1] Peppermint Crunch
Prior to a poor showing at his last race, Peppermint Crunch Won at Fair Grounds on Jan. 23rd and before that, a Place showing, also at Fair Grounds on Dec. 19th. He leads this field with an average Speed figure of 78. Jockey Gerardo Moro, over the last 10 days, is winning @ 19% and Trainer Karl Broberg’s horses moving from a route to a sprint race are winning @ 23% and ITM @ 51%

Preacher looks well positioned to earn his first win after consecutive 4th place finishes (8/1 & 6/30 - both at Louisiana Downs) and earning his second highest Speed figure (56) on Aug. 1st. He leads today’s field of eleven in average Speed and also has very strong Pace Ratings. Jockey Gerardo has an impressive +30% ROI at this distance/surface and is Winning @ 19% over the last 10 days.
