Yesterday had a nice spark of energy that I have been looking for in these games… unfortunately the Brewers made sure the Cardinals had more energy with a 3 run bomb to ruin our F5 play on them! Well, today is a different day and we are swinging for the fences!!

The Bay Bridge series is always a tough battle between these 2 teams and the Bay Area ALWAYS gets behind their teams. The Giants are starting Alex Wood in what can be considered an Away game but sleeping in their own bed. This can kinda feel like a home game. So we are going to look at his night splits which bares an ERA of 4.15 and has allowed him most walks and Home runs in the evening. The Athletics on the other hand are throwing Kaprielian who comes in with a home ERA of 1.42 over 38 innings pitched. Another key stat that I really like is that Kaprielian has an opponent OBP of 2.89 and a batting AVG of 2.19, while wood has a 3.10 OBP and a 2.38 AVG. it’s gonna be a sweat for sure… like you might want to grab a drink to watch this game.

At what point do we just not care what the total is when Akin is pitching for the O’s… cuz that’s about how I am feeling with the Braves at the plate! Braves need all the wins they can get right now and let’s hope they put up a bunch to ensure that!
