The Cubs are a small favorite on the road but last night they were a dog and won. The Pirates have called up rookie phenom Paul Skenes to make his major league debut. I like to fade rookie pitchers as they tend to get shaky quicker than someone with even a few starts under their belt. The difference here is that Skenes is from the LSU Tigers team that dominated the College World Series behind Skenes' arm. Books may be looking to capture some money by having Skenes favored in his debut as this is one of the most anticipated starts of the young season. The system says to play Cubs but as always make your own decisions based off what you know. This system will never produce 100% winners but we look to grind out profit each day.
