MLB Plays Thursday 4/24/25

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here, and today our main focus will be on the NFL draft. However, it's also a fantastic day in sports overall. Baseball games start early, the NHL playoffs will run late, the NBA is right in the mix, and, of course, horse racing is always happening.

Yesterday, we finished with a record of 2-2, resulting in a loss of 0.54 units and an ROI of -13.54%. On Tuesday, we performed slightly better, going 3-2 for a gain of 0.75 units and an ROI of +14.98%. While we've cooled off a bit after a strong weekend and a solid start to the week, we still have some exciting plays for today.

With fewer games available, we have four plays lined up. We're particularly looking forward to a good pitching matchup by betting on a first five innings run line to kick off the day. Additionally, there are two series plays still up in the air today that we aim to close out.

Good luck with all your plays today! We're here to help you get "In the Money!"

Here are a few important points to remember before you start playing any of the games listed below:

1. We will only place bets to risk, not to win. This means we will risk one unit to win whatever the payout is. There are numerous plays available, and risking more one unit to win a full unit can lead to quick losses.

2. We will avoid betting on lines that are at, or sometimes near, -200. Instead, we will assess teams based on the run line to determine if a good play exists.

3. The price listed is the price we found when we prepared this post. We do not shop for prices, as we are located in California and have limited options. All suggested plays will be based on this price, although your bookmaker may have slightly different odds.

4. From our experience last year, our system was particularly effective for series prices, which you will also find listed below. Please remember that the same rules from point 3 apply.

  1. We advocate for playing listed when placing your wagers. A pitching change could affect the line, and we must ensure we are using the proper information to make the best wager.
