Yesterday was a nice day to follow the #HomeRunLine after a nice bounce back of 3-0. If you looked around Twitter or Action Network., you also saw that I was able to cash a 1/2 unit play from Jo Madden's free play. So I am riding high but as an avid sports investment analyst, I know you have to be careful after a perfect day. I found four plays I liked but I can only get behind the three below. Chicago Cubs

If you look at Kyle Hendricks' splits vs the Pirates you would call me crazy because he has been dreadful this season when pitching against the Pirates. However, if you dig deeper you will see when he pitches on the road vs the Pirates, he is far superior. To top if off the Pirates are sending out a rookie for his first start in Roansy Contreras. Contreras is coming off an injury about a month back and has little experience in Triple-A this season. I will take a seasoned pitcher over a rookie here.
New York Mets

I have said it more than once this season, the Marlins are terrible on the road. The last time I said this I got burned bad but this time they do not have Alcantara on the bump. This time they send out Elieser Hernandez. With minimal experience, this season, only 10 games pitched, and this being his second time facing the Mets, I think he is going to struggle. The Mets have nothing to play for so I could get burned by this pick but with Taijuan Walker being a different pitcher at home than on the road I will put my investment in the Mets to get after a young pitcher.
Milwaukee Brewers
F5 ML (-105)
Neither of these teams has a thing to play for. The Brewers will host the NL East winner in the NLDS and the Cardinals will travel to the Wild Card winner for a one-game play-in! So why even look at this game? No, it's not based on the Pitchers, nor the lineups, nor the teams in general. This is a play based on what Pickles said about the hangover effect. The Cardinals clinched last night and will be happy to be in. Do I know if they will want to snap that 17 game win streak they have going, no I don't but I do know the first half of this game could be rough if they partied all night!!!
