Happy Friday! We have a great day planned of cashin' tickets and hitting happy hour. To do that we are headed to Jersey to watch the ponies at Monmouth Park. Today's card includes 8 races but no stakes so it's chicken tendies for snacks today. We prefer to get our tendies at the Glass Turtle in Roseville with multiple dipping sauces and homemade chips! Other options for today include whiskey sour and banana splits (The Turtle doesn't have these, unfortunately) as both are being celebrated today along with our post.
Weather is looking interesting for Monmouth today as we will see highs in the mid-70s with mostly sunny skies, thunderstorms possible, and chances of rain towards the end of the card. The problem is with the weather they did have earlier in the week the track is sloppy already and we are off turf. Make sure you double check those PPs for the mudders today!!!
