Bucks 1st Half Team Total Over 54.5
Miami Heat 1st Half Team Total Over 54.5 Points
12:30 PM Pacific
The Miami Heat are looking to pull what could be considered one of the biggest upsets in NBA history with a sweep of the number one team in the east. The Bucks came into the restart as the best in the NBA, but have not looked the same as the regular season. The Heat are averaging 58.7 first-half points in the series which is *4.8 first-half points more than the Bucks averaged all season. The increase is due mostly in part to the solid three-point shooting the Heat are doing in the series, up 3% from the Bucks average given up. The Heat will be looking to put the Bucks away early and we will be playing the Miami Heat team total over 54.5 points in the first half.
Los Angeles Lakers -5.5
5:30 PM Pacific
The Lakers were stunned in Game 1 and Lebron had his 15 game conference semi-final win streak snapped. The Rockets made “small ball” work to their advantage and not only won ATS but won outright. The Lakers should be back in a rhythm now that they are playing on a more regular schedule, game one they had 6 days off. Lebron James is notorious for saying he prides himself on not losing two games in a row. The Lakers are a top-three defensive team this year and will find an answer to slow down James Harden in game 2. We like the Lakers to bounce back strong and will play the Los Angeles Lakers -5.5
Los Angeles Lakers / Houston Rockets Under 224 Total Points
5:30 PM Pacific
As noted above the Lakers are a top-three defensive team. The Rockets gave max effort in game one and the under still hit. *Houston after a win is 54% to the under all year and are 11-5 under in the bubble overall. *The Lakers are 10-4 to the under in the bubble and are 55% to the under after a loss. Both teams combined for 33 turnovers in game one leading to a meager 39 points off turnovers combine. That means the teams combine to score only half the time when the other team turned it over. *This season the under is 3-1 between these two teams. We look to the under 224 here and would play it down to under 222.
