Happy Friday Y'all!!! We made it to the weekend and it's opening day from one of our favorite tracks Oaklawn Park. Why is it one of our favorites? Because when the pandemic was raging they were still racing at Oaklawn and it was instrumental in the development of Turtle Sports. Also, who doesn't love an opening day!? We are excited for the winter meet that runs until April culminating in the Arkansas Derby for a chance to run the Kentucky Derby. Come hang out during happy hour, we know it's only lunch time here but we think ever hour is happy hour, and enjoy the ponies with us all meet long!
Today's card includes 9 races, a competitive field, and features race 8 the Advant Stakes. Running conditions are not looking great with a muddy track, Oaklawn is a dirt only course, and temperatures in the low 60's with cloudy skies. Giddy up.
