Happy Wednesday & National Coq Au Vin Day!
For this last Wednesday of the month, our celebrated LundinLIne heads to beautiful Bensalem, PA, for a nice 10-race card at Parx Racing. Parx Casino and Racing (formerly Philadelphia Park Racetrack and Casino) is a Thoroughbred horse racing venue and the largest casino gaming complex in Pennsylvania.
We have two Best Bets for you today. The first is in R3, a 6-furlong 7.5K Claiming race on the dirt for 3-year-olds and up who have never won two races. Our pick of Smokin Holiday is in excellent form as he moves down in class and comes off a 3rd place finish at Parx in February, where he posted his highest speed of 80 (Equibase) (also the highest of today's field). Our second Best Bet comes in R5, a 6 1/2 furlong 10K maiden claiming race on the dirt for fillies & mares 3 years old and up. Our pick of Faux Pas is coming off a 3rd place finish in a similar race at Parx in May, In April, she just missed by a neck to Culpa Blanco and did beat Battalia, who went on to win her next race at a higher class.
