While everyone knows that the State Bird of Pennsylvania is the Ruffled Grouse, we bet you didn't know that the Keystone State was the second state admitted to the Union (1787). What was the first? (see below). Here are just a few famous Pennsylvanians:

Well - today happens to be the BIGGEST day on Pennsylvania's horse racing calendar, which is why our #LundinLine has traveled to beautiful Bensalem, PA for Parx Racing's 14-race card. This amazing card includes 10 (yep, count 'em, 10 ) Stakes races featuring two $1 Mil. G1 races: the Cotillion Stakes (R12) and the Pennsylvania Derby (R13). In the Cotillion - will Doug O'Neill's pupil, Ceiling Crusher, continue her winning ways as she comes off another impressive win (by six lengths), or might Brendan Walsh's charge Pretty Mischievous, daughter of Into Mischief and, coming off back-to-back-to-back wins, reach the winner's circle. In the PA Derby, we see this coming down to a battle between Reincarnate (B. Baffert) [last: off a win with Henandez back in the irons], Saudi Crown (B. Cox) [last: matching a career high speed figure of 109 and just edged out by nose for the win by Forte], and Magic Tap (S. Asmussen) a very impressive colt from Tapit that recorded his fastest speed figure of 110 in an Aug. 13th win over Film Star. Magic Tap will have Tyler Gaffalione back at the helm.
