🏇Happy Flag Day (& National Bourbon Day 🥃)
Happy Friday! We are excited to get back in the saddle and bring you a track much closer to home for us. The big meets are exciting, the pools are large, and the action is fast. However, having smaller fields can pay off when capping the races as you can find those little details you might miss on a bigger track. We are heading to the Bay Area and playing the ponies from the Pleasanton Fairgrounds where the Alameda County Fair Kicks off today along with the California Fairs Horse Racing Circuit!!! We all know how much we love Cal Expo for three weeks a year but that is not the only fair that does horse racing. Alameda County, Humboldt County, and Big Fresno Fair all participate in this summer circuit. Today Pleasanton has a small six race card and we plan to cap the whole weekend. We will keep the fair circuit going most the summer as we love to be close to home! The weather is beautiful with highs in the mid 90s and no rain.
