What a surreal day as we have the end of a month, hump day of a short week, and racing near Erie, PA. Yes, that means today we're headed to Summit Township in northwest Pennsylvania and Presque Isle Downs! This track has only been open since September 2nd, 2007 but the amazing spring and summer weather coming off Lake Erie make this a great track to cash some tickets. Today's card includes 8 races, plenty of runners, and lots of chances to kick your feet up on your desk and enjoy the ponies. Fun fact of the day is Churchill Downs owns this track and casino, so there's lots of money to be had if you're nearby.
Running conditions are looking great with the weather we normally see here in California. With highs in the upper-70s to low-80s, it looks like we have a fast track, but no turf here, unfortunately. The first post is at 12:00 PM Pacific.
