R3: [7] Miss Notorious
Miss Notorious enters today’s race after finishing 2nd on Sept. 20th at Louisiana Downs in a Maiden Special Weight race. When moving his horses from maiden special weight to maiden claiming, Trainer Steve Asmussen’s horses are winning at 24% and ITM at 56%. His 3 yr. old philly leads today’s field of 9 in average Speed as well as finish Pace Rating. Over that last 10 days (6 starts), Jockey Stewart Elliott is winning at 50%, ITM at 67% with a +112% ROI. Miss Notorious opens the day at 8/5 odds.
R4: [6] Pop’s Biscuit
This will be Pop’s Biscuit’s third race coming off a layoff from Feb. 22nd where his finished 2nd and reported his highest Speed figure of 78 (reported as Gelding on 8/20). His last race was on Sept. 9th where he looked very good, but finished 2nd to Okie Standard. He leads today’s field in average Speed (70) as well as early, middle and finish Pace Ratings. The duo of Asmusssen/Elliot over the past year are winning at 24% and ITM at 51%. Morning Line odds for Pop's Biscuit is 7/5.
R7: [2] Waverunner
Waverunner had a very nice summer for Westrock Stables & Trainer Ron Moquett as he was ITM in all three races. His Win on July 9th at Indiana Grand earned Waverunner his highest Speed figure of 84. His last race was a 2nd place finish to Artemus on Aug. 1st at Ellis Park. Johny’s Bobby leads today’s field with an average Speed of 75, but over his last 3 races, Waverunner has a average Speed of 78 and he does lead the field with a finish Pace Rating of 76. Over the past year, Moquet and Jockey David Cabrera are winning at 33%, IMT at 60% with an impressive +38% ROI. Waverunner starts the day off at 9/2 odds.
R9: [1] Bandit Swanson
Bandit Swanson has been ITM for all 5 of his 2020 races. He was just a length away from his first win in his last race on Sept.16th at Remington, but did tie for his career high Speed figure with an 82. (The only horse in that 9/16 field to have raced since was the winner Liam who went on to Place on 9/27) . Bandit Swanson leads today’s field with an average Speed fo 78. Over the past 30 days, Trainer Bret Calhoun’s horses are winning at 26%, ITM at 63% with a very impressive +63% ROI. One the past 10 days, Jockey David Cabrera is winning at 21% and ITM at 74%.
