Let's close the weekend in our backyard and play the ponies from Cal Expo in Sacramento, CA from the California State Fair. We are excited to be back at the track, our guy Finky will be at the track today so say hi, and are ready to cash some tickets, unlike yesterday. You have to take the good with the bad when gambling and we are hoping we got the bad out of our system for this meet. Today's card has eight races, the first two are quarter horse races and our Lundin Line does not match up well with those types of races. We have some local connections going today in the 6th race where the #2 Mastery Kat is one of our best bets. She is stretching out a bit but trainer Jamey Thomas knows what he is doing and we believe she is in for a good run. William Antongeorgi III will be in the irons and he is coming off one win yesterday so he is looking to improve just like we are. There is no actual featured race today but that does not mean we can't still enjoy some fun at the track close to home! The weather is going to near 100 degrees today so we will be staying hydrated out there and the track will be fast.
