Happy Saturday! We are two weeks away from the Breeders' Cup! Horses from all over the world will head to southern California and Santa Anita Park for the 40th running of this event so we thought we would get some practice in there ourselves. They say practice makes perfect so we are hoping to be ready to go when the big weekend comes! The second stop today's card has nine races with the featured race coming in race 8 the Anoakia stakes! This is a two year old fillies race where the purse is $85K. Not many runners but a stakes win is a stakes win so I am sure the pools will be mighty!
We are in for beautiful weather today as we will see highs in the mid 80s with mostly sunny skies. That means we will see a fast track and firm turf per usual in sunny Southern California!!!
