Happy Memorial Day weekend! Yes, that means you made it through another long week and are ready to celebrate our heroes all weekend long!!! Today we're headed to Southern California to watch the races at Santa Anita Park! The Spring meeting is still running strong but only a few weeks left so let's not waste any time. Today's card includes 9 races, lotsa runners, and featured two stakes races back-to-back. Race 7 is the $100K G3T Daytona Stakes. You won't want to miss this one as it is a downhill turf race which is always interesting to watch. Next up in race 8, we have the $200K G2 Triple Bend Stakes. It sounds like a good time to possibly use the Lundin Line to put together an excellent double!?
Running conditions are looking fair with atypical weather for SoCal with cloudy skies but no rain in the forecast and highs in the mid-70s. It looks like we have good turf, a fast track, and temperatures in the mid-70s, so SoCal should pop its head out today after all so enjoy! The first post is at 1:00 PM Pacific.
