Happy Friday & National Clam Chowder Day! 🥣
You would think with a day like this we would head to the East Coast to double dip on the ponies and some New England style but in true Turtle Sports fashion we are staying close to home as we have just as good of clam chowder as they do! We are watching the ponies of Santa Anita with our bread bowl filled to the brim. We have 10 races, one stakes, lottsa chowda, and plenty of opportunity to cash some tickets! The featured race is race 9 the $100K Wishing Well Statkes, a 6.5 furlong sprint on the downhill turf. This is the track most like European coarse as a right turn is incorporated as well!
The weather is perfect for today’s feast as we will have cloudy skies with highs in upper 60s. The good new is the track is fast and the turf is firm as the rain is no where in site. We are hoping it stays that way so we can get this great card in with no hiccups.
