Happy Saturday, Happy last day of September, Happy Spooky Season Eve, and most importantly Happy National Podcast Day! Yay we know it's been over a year since the Turtle Sports Podcast had a new episode but hey there are so many out there we just had to make sure we let you all know how important today is! There's a lot happening today but that won't stop us from ignoring that pigskin game and playing the ponies from Santa Anita Racecourse! Saturdays are shaping up to be huge from now til the first weekend in November when the Breeders' Cup takes place right here in Sunny Southern California. We have a win and in race today in race eight the $300K 1 1/8 mile grade 1 Awesome Again Stakes. Whoever wins this one will be in the starting gate for the Longines Classic on November 4th. The action doesn't stop there as we have three other stakes races, two of which are grade 2, meaning there are plenty of chances to cash some tickets with the names we know and some you don't!
Today's card overall has 10 races and as we mentioned 4 total stakes races. The weather is not being kind to our So Cal friends as there is a good chance it will rain all day. Not typical of that area but they need it and we welcome it to keep the grass growing year round! We will see temps in the high 60s so maybe it's also officially hoodie season!? The ponies won't let all this stop them but beware of any scratches that may occur and adjust those tickets accordingly.
