WE DID IT!!! We made it to our second favorite F word, Friday!!! That's right it is the middle of summer but the end of the week. We have a lot in store for you today on the Lundin Line to help you get the weekend started the right way!
Our first stop takes us to New York and one of the most famous tracks in the world, Saratoga. Known to most as the Spa, this racecourse has a big weekend ahead with the Haskell Stakes but today we feature the Grade 3 Turf Lake George Stakes. This $175,000 purse is one mile over the inner turf. We are hoping it held up overnight as there were some showers yesterday unexpectedly. As of the writing of this post, very early on the west coast, we should have perfect running conditions: firm turf, a fast track, and temperatures in the mid-80s with partly cloudy skies. The weather person says the rain should hold off today so let's hope they stay on the turf. Be on the lookout later in the day for more action from the west coast.
