Happy Thursday! While everyone knows that Saratoga held its first thoroughbred meet (for 4 days) just a month after the Battle of Gettysburg - Aug. 3rd, 1863, we bet you didn't know that August 11th is National Son's & Daughter's Day. According to our friends over at nationaldaycalendar.com - "National Sonâs and Daughterâs Day on August 11th brings parents and their children together for quality time."
Well - we here at Turtle Sports can't think of a better example of quality family time than a trip to the track or watching the races on TVG as parents teach their kids the intricacies of betting a pick 6 or the advantages of a "Key Box" bet. We here at Turtle Sports also recognize that we skew a bit in the degenerative direction.

Fast & Firm conditions with a temp right around 80 await today's runners with an even split of the card between dirt & turf races.
