Welcome to Day 2 of the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course.
Day 1 was not particularly kind to us (off the record - it kind of sucked)
- but today is another day (really, we looked it up) & we are very optimistic about today's ten races. Featured races will include Race 8, the 135K Wilton S. (1 mile on dirt for 3-year-old filles), and Race 9, the 150K Coronation Cup. S (5 1/2 f. on turf for 3-year-old fillies).
Since today is Friday, and many of you will be headed to your local watering hole for a cold one (or seven) to start the weekend, we have some fun "This Day in Sports History" facts to impress your bar mates before we get to today's Spa picks.
