We are back in New York for day three of the Summer meet from The Spa! We had a much better day yesterday versus day one but the weather helped as the scratches were limited and we had more opportunity to cash tickets. Yesterday, one of our best bets helped Finky cash a double that turned his month around on the track. For those who do not know a double, or daily double, is picking the winner of two races in a row where you can put as many houses from each race in you want but it costs more for more horses. It's like doing a two-team parlay in sports betting for those more familiar with that side of the business. Today's card has 12 total races with three stakes and the featured race coming in the 10th. The $500K Diana Stakes (G1T) is a 9-furlong route over the inner turf for fillies and mares four years old and up. These are some of the best horses from Kentucky Oaks trail past and we are in for a great run.
The weather today is going to be hot and humid. We will see highs in the upper 80s with partly cloudy skies. The humidity will be in the upper 50% to 60% meaning that wet feeling will be around all day. The main track is fast and the turf is firm so get those franks and beans ready early so you can cash tickets with us today!
