The Sam Davis Stakes is not only graded, but it is also a Kentucky Derby Prep race, with Derby points award to the top four finishers, 10-4-2-1 respectively. You won't want to miss it! We're in for perfect running conditions today with firm turf, a fast track and beautiful beach weather with temperatures in the mid-70's and sunny skies. First post is at 9:11 AM Pacific.

Let's check out today's Best Horse Value (BVH). What's our BVH, you ask? A Best Value Horse is probably not going off as the betting favorite and is unlikely to to go off with the longest odds. Simply put - our Best Value Horse is a runner our very own @TSDaveW likes with morning line odds that we'd classify as fair to middling. This will be a horse that should be competitive, and if it hits, you'll be glad you played it! With a morning line of 15/1, Ribaldry (IRE) is our Best Value Horse at Tampa Bay Downs.
